Our office walls have been bare for far too long. So, we’d like to change that and dress them up a bit. We thought it would be really cool if we had canvas prints of artwork from our customers to display around the office.

How to Enter

You must LIKE the Legit Print Facebook Page.
You must submit your artwork along with a brief description of the piece to contest@legitprint.com by March 31st, 2013 using the guidelines we provide. Email subject for your submission should read “Blank Canvas Contest”.
Once your submission has been approved, you will be notified by email. When the submission deadline has passed, your submission will be posted on our Facebook Page. You should SHARE and get your friends to LIKE your submission for increased chances of winning.

Prizes & Winners

Multiple winners will be chosen and they will be awarded their very own mounted canvas prints of their submission to hang in their home or office. You will also get star treatment on our blog and Facebook page. We will include a blog post dedicated to you and your piece with a link back to your website or portfolio.

Artwork Guidelines

You guys and gals are artist – there are no guidelines. You may create a piece depicting our logo and company, or you may submit something completely unrelated. Leave it up to your creative insight. Just avoid using anything that is obscene just because we will be posting entries on Facebook.

Illustrations, photographs, paintings, etc. are all welcome to be submitted.

You must submit your artwork in one of the following dimensions (landscape or portrait):

The Not So Fine Print

By entering Legit Print’s Blank Canvas contest, you agree to let Legit Print use and display your artwork on their website, blog, Facebook, Twitter, and any other online mediums. You also agree to let Legit Print produce a mounted canvas print of your artwork to be displayed in their corporate office, that of which Legit Print has the right to refuse to display, move to another location, or re-sell should they choose to do so. You agree that Legit Print will not have the right to reproduce the artwork with the intent to resell without your documented consent.

You understand if you are a winner of the contest, you will be awarded a mounted canvas print of your submission, but it is not guaranteed that the awarded mounted canvas print will be the same size as the artwork you submitted. You acknowledge that Legit Print reserves the right to choose the final winner(s) of the contest and that their decision will not be weighed solely on the number of Facebook Likes the submissions receives. You agree not to plagiarize, copy, reproduce any other persons artwork and submit it as your own artwork. You will be creative, original, you will be yourself.

The Task:

Photograph any printed media (it can be a magazine cover, business card, postcard, banner, poster, etc.) that captures color, texture, and quality. You have to prove that you can take photos of something as simple as a paper ad and really sell it. If the photo is of an ad for a new combo at Jack In The Box, it better make me want to go get a Jumbo Jack!

Contest Steps:

Submit one (1) photo of printed media and a link to your portfolio to marketing@legitprint.com with the Subject “Legit Photographer Contest”.

The submission that we feel captures color, texture, and quality the best will win.

The Winner Gets:

a choice of either 200 15pt Silk + Spot UV Business Cards or 1,000 14pt UV Business Cards.

to be featured on our Blog, Facebook, and Twitter.

the opportunity to photograph our products and add Legit Print to their portfolio.

The contest end date will be announced later in the week through our Facebook page!

The winner of this contest will receive any tangible prizes after he/she has performed duties agreed upon. This case requires the winner to photograph company products prior to the relinquishment of any aforementioned prizes. By participating in this contest, you agree to grant Legit Print the rights to publish, distribute, and use the product photographs in any context with absolutely no limitations under creative commons license. Contrarily the winner will not sell or redistribute photographs to any other party without the expressed written consent of Legit Print. The winner may publish photographs on his/her online portfolio if desired.
